MEET THE TEAM

M J Underhay Dental Laboratory is a friendly team consisting of Magnus Underhay, 1 Crown and Bridge Technician, 1 Prosthetic Technician (Laboratory Manger), 1 Process Worker and Delivery Driver. We pride ourselves on good hand crafted, quality work made in Great Britain and a reliable service for all our clients.  All clients are welcome to visit the laboratory at any time and we are happy to meet and greet your patients for shade takes or for them to see how the laboratory works (by appointment only).

 

Magnus Underhay trained at M J Pulling and Partners in Cavendish Square London and went to South London College where he qualified in 1992, he worked at M J Pulling and Partners/Harcourt House dental Studio until 1995. Then SDH Dental Laboratory before starting his own laboratory in January 1999. Magnus runs the South East Dental Study Club with his wife Julie and is a Shofu Advisor – using Shofu products within his own laboratory where he trains his technicians in both Crown and Bridge, Implants and Prosthetics techniques. Magnus is also a proud member of The Dental Technicians Guild. Magnus is also a Straumann Platinum approved implant technician as well and he is able to work with any implant system. Magnus is also fully qualified in the use of our new CAD/CAM system. Since creating MJ Underhay Dental Laboratory in 1999 Magnus has developed a loyal clientele due to the quality and reliability of his work. (GDC No: 128543)

Julie Underhay is a Partner in the business and the Laboratory Manager. She has an extensive dental background and has been working in the laboratory since 2006. Julie is responsible for all the administration work, marketing, and client contacts.




 

Magnus and Julie Underhay run the South East Dental Technician's Study Club which has been running since August 2015. The meetings are held in the Village Hall in West Kingsdown near Brands Hatch. We have a Facebook Page with plenty of interesting articles and comments - please feel free to join. The meeting dates, venue and topics are all advertised on the page.
